Enhanced

Unenhanced (from Telecine)

The above sample still is taken from a frame of film enhanced by the process that Greg Winter uses.

Take a close look at the branches on the trees and the detail on the woman's face. Also examine the color balance and clarity of the overall image.

The above sample still is take from a frame of film that was captured using a standard telecine process.

The details are missing and the overall color balance and clarity are poor in comparision to the enhanced version.

Trouble with viewing the sample file?

If you are having trouble viewing the sample files, it may be one of two things:

1. Speed of your connection
The sample files are quite large (9 and 18 megabytes) If your connection is slow, right-click on the sample file you want to view (on a Macintosh, hold down the mouse button). From the pop-up menu, select the menu choice to save the file to your hard drive (Save Target As... for example). When the download is complete, you may view the sample file.

2. Application used to view the sample file
Some applications will view the file better than other applications. The recommended PC application to use is Windows Media Player. Quicktime will be used automatically on the Macintosh.
