Why archive
to video if it’s already on tape or film? |
|
Today’s video has gone
digital. Digital video (DV) is professional quality video that
saves and protects life's most precious moments. Let pictures,
motion video, and sound tell the story that brings memories to
life. Share your story of growing up, vacations, reunions, and
those special moments in life.
Your story will be preserved
for you and your family now, and most importantly...for all the
generations ahead. |

I only have slides or printed
photographs. How is it possible to get them into a digital medium? |
| |
Greg can convert any older format
video source to the new Digital Video, including such media as VHS,
Betamax, and 8mm. Slides, photographs, memorabilia (tickets, invitations,
and newspaper articles, for example), and negatives are scanned
into digital form. In the video, pictures come to life by panning
and zooming in and out. Additionally, scanning these items will
preserve them on CD. You can take these images on disk and print
them on photographic paper. |

Slide shows are boring!
How is this any better? |
| |
Digital video is much more exciting
than "click, picture, click, picture..." Still images
can pan and zoom. Images come to life with transitions that are
perfectly choreographed to music. Digital Video is cool! You have
to see it to believe it. Check out some demo material or ask to
see a sample. |

What about the video I
already shot of my kids. Can I use this? |
| |
Greg can convert any older format
video source to the new Digital Video. Source material such as:
VHS, Betamax, and 8mm. Material is reviewed, put into categories
for editing into watch-able format. After the production is done,
all NEW source DV tapes are furnished to the client. The material
is then authored to a DVD so it will last much longer than the DV
tape. Remember that video will start to fade away after approximately
20 years. Both DV (Digital Video) and DVD (MPEG-2) can be converted
to future formats after 20 years. |

My new "brand-x"
computer can burn DVD's. Why should I have Greg Winter do it? |
| |
Yes, most new computers today can
handle Digital Video with little additional equipment & software.
Todays non-linear editing systems enable anyone to produce their
own video. Setting up your system, learning the software, sorting
and cataloging the material and DOING the actual editing all takes
time. Greg can save you time and tell a story with your pictures
and video. Put his expertise and creativity to work; creating a
memorable video that you will want to show all your friends and
family. |
